I finished reading Fakers this morning at 1 am. I loved this book. It was so real, so honest (to use a word found in the book often), and so emotional. The characters had depth and I was brought into their lives completely. Definitely continue this series with these characters!

Thank you, Marisa! I’m glad the book moved you 🙂 I start writing book 2 (Stevie’s story) in August, and I’m aiming for a November release.

I stumbled across your fear university series on amazon and became immediately hooked, i read all three books in six hours . I must say if there’s your not going to write another book to finish the series im going to go mad! Ollie’s gotta face off with Dean n her father ! I have to know how this series ends its driving mad as hatter after a swang bite, sunny has gotta perfect that bane cure . There are so many things I need to know , I will forever be disappointed if I never get to find out how this story ends. Do the coexist, or does one side kill the other . Ugh

HAHAHA! I laughed so hard at “mad as a hatter after a swang bite.” omg! So Monster Mine really just needed to serve as a tentative end for the series, but I’ll most likely continue on!

Hi Meg! I really love the Fear University series. I read them all in one day, haha.
The books actually made me very emotional because even though the story’s fiction…you take it seriously. The plot might be made-up but the underlying layers are serious and are rooted in reality. Mistreatment is real. Malice is real. Abuse is real. And they’re all painful and leave big mental and emotional scars. Pain is so much more than physically bruising and bleeding and I’m surprised, impressed, and grateful that you got into hard stuff in your books. It really could not have been easy to balance the heavy with how much readers can take. I know I’m sensitive but some parts were horrifying! And not for the sake of being gory or disgusting. They were just intense and felt SO real. I was going back and forth between thinking it could be happening to someone right now and imagining how painful it would really be to be Ollie. I appreciate the books and the authors that get me to think, and to feel more than just warmth about a romance or sadness about a death. I respect all authors because writing is hard, but I feel like you put A LOT more into it than most would’ve with the same exact storyline (which was great btw). So, thank you. 🙂

Katie, thank you so, so much for this comment. You seriously filled my heart with so much happiness and appreciation. These issues are all very real, and some readers might say I take it too far. But I could never just toe the line of violence and a human’s capacity to feel pain and fear without going all the way in because it would be a disservice to everyone who has ever felt abuse like Ollie has. I’m so grateful that you felt the depth of that with Ollie and understood the realness of it all. Thank you so much for reaching out and leaving this comment. I’m so happy you enjoyed the books!!
